Children who have experienced trauma, have benefitted from PramaLife's dedicated knitters - across various groups throughout Dorset.
This morning, Elliott and Barrie from the British Red Cross came to collect some knitted teddy bears from PramaLife.
Some of our PramaLife's group members have been busy knitting teddy bears and this is the result of their hard work - groups across Dorset, including Young at Heart, Keep fit class members, Friday coffee morning and Pop in groups all took part in this project
So what happens to the teddies?
This wonderful donation will be divided and given to local children who have experienced a crisis in their lives, maybe a house fire and all of their toys have been destroyed. The others will be heading off to Brize Norton to be given to children arriving on planes from Afghanistan, most of those, not having the opportunity to bring anything with them.
