In celebration of The Queens Platinum Jubilee last week, PramaLife had put together a series of Jubilee parties for the group members to spend the day enjoying music, food, quizzes, laughter and much more.
One Jubilee party took place at The Old Rope Walk, Hamworthy - one of PramaLife's weekly venues for Memory Lane Groups, Musical Memories Groups and Friday Coffee Mornings. There were around 74 attendees, both group members and residents of The Old Rope Walk. Prama's wonderful team of volunteers and staff helped prepare and serve the food and drinks throughout.
Caroline, the Group Leader from the Musical Memories, singing 'bring me sunshine' unfortunately was not able to stop the rain from pouring down later that day. Thankfully everyone's spirits were still high and the day continued indoors with games and music.
Meanwhile, over in Ferndown at St Mary's Church, where PramaLife East Dorset Memory Lane and Penny's Patchers Groups are held, Jubilee celebrations also took place. Group members enjoyed music, quizzes, word searches and plenty of cake! Allen Kirkbride, a Memory Lane Group Leader hosted two wonderful days of celebrations with the help from both staff and volunteers.
